Spectrum condition: For some Asthma is so mild they have few symptoms other than a nagging cough when the weather changes (cough variant). For some, they end up in the ICU by their 4th birthday and struggle to find a balance of meds to give them a tolerable life. You need to educate yourself and find a good doc to work with. Most can gain great control and it all fade into the background while you have a good life.

Frequency of attacks: Please tell us what you meant by mild forms of attacks and how frequently you have been experiencing them. The severity of asthma is classified by the frequency of attacks in addition to other factors influencing your quality of life. If you have had 2 or more attacks a week, you are classified to have persistent asthma which may require taking controller medications daily.
