Possible keratitis: People who wear contacts are at higher risk of inflammatory and infectious keratitis. Your description sounds typical of patients i've seen with keratitis. I would recommend seeing an ophthalmologist to be sure. I would definitely stay out of your contacts until being seen.

Infection: This is not normal. This could be mild or could be potentially vision threatening. Seek an ophthalmologist as an emergency. Dont wait.
