See a doctor: See a podiatrist or orthopedic doctor. X-rays and further evaluation is needed to determine what is causing the swelling. Ice, elevate and rest for now and make sure to see a doctor. After correct diagnosis there are medication that can help.

Swelling: It can be due to so many things that it's difficult to diagnose over a forum like this but you do need to find the cause and that starts with a physical exam by your doctor. It could be high blood pressure, injury, circulatory problems, fluid retension, alcohol etc. See your doctor to start with.
