1st Question is, why is one taking potassium? Potassium is a necessary nutrient for proper function of the body- nerves & muscles especially heart muscles. Too much potassium (5.1mEq/L+) by lab can cause problem with nausea, weakness, dizziness, irregular heart beat and even heart attack & death.
