Maybe: There are, in fact, some people who are deficient in some of the genetic pathways to make cholesterol and they have to eat this number of eggs just to maintain a normal level. Step 1 - have your lipid panel checked and insure that your cholesterol is not too high (if you are already doing this) step 2 - i'd probably divide them out 2 eggs 3x/day step 3 - recheck lipids.

Egg yolks.: While the whites of the egg contains protein, the yolk contains fat so limiting the yolks at least would be helpful. If you have trouble separating the white from the yolk, shoot for no more than three whole eggs weekly. Recommendations always bounce around about this, but the fewer the better.
