Need more info: How tall are you? Calculating your BMI helps place your weight in context. Do you have health issues with your heart or kidneys? These can cause you to retain fluid, an unhealthy cause for weight gain. Have your eating habits changed? High-calorie food choices, larger portions, and less physical activity, along with increasing age will make you gain weight. Hope that helps.

Diet/exercise: fish, foul, fresh fruit/vegetables. fiber ( cereals). Avoid fried, greasy or fatty foods. Medical checkup. Mixed high and low burst interval aerobics and eat 6-8 small, fist sized portions of food daily. Have your thyroid function and lipid profiles checked.
