Ipratroprium : The best thing is to get your allergic rhinitis evaluated by an allergist to ensure that it is under optimal control. Even with good control, some rhinitis patients get a runny nose with cold food, drinks or air. Ask your doctor for a prescription for ipratropium nasal spray, which is the only thing you can do for this, other than the obvious - limit the degree to which you eat and drink cold food.
