Everytime i eat or drink, no matter the type of food or drink, no matter the temperature, i always get a runny nose. sometimes there's some blood within the mucus, the mucus being more predominant. why does this keep happening?

You're experiencing vasomotor rhinitis. This is not an allergic reaction though. Triggers include eating & exposure to cold temperatures. Sometimes vasomotor rhinitis goes on for weeks, goes & away only to come back again. Even though it's not a true allergic reaction, we try antihistamine nasal sprays like astelin and also decongestant &cortisone sprays to reduce inflammation & irritants.?see ENT
