Difficult: The most common white lesions are decalcified areas or damaged enamel but would not dissapear have it evaluated by a dentist for good diagnosis...Home whitening can be done with crest strips i don't recomend because of difficulty in sticking to lower teeth...You are best treated by the dentist with take home supplies... Plaque: White patches on teeth could be plaque if removable some teeth get white patches when then form and depending on how deep they go they might not be bleachable. Home whitening does not work well you need dental bleaching systems which work great. You can try brushing with baking soda to remove stains.

Probably best to: Consult with a dentist. Sometime white patches are areas of hypo calcification and can occur for different reasons. Whitening options, micro abrasion etc are viable options if indicated and should be performed by a licensed dental professional. Hope this helps and thanks for the question.
