I got two wisdom teeth removed 10 days ago, and ive been doing everything i can to avoid dry socket. i've been successful so far. i was wondering how long until i could start using a straw or smoking a pipe. 34, male, if that helps?

Your risk of dry socket ,at day 10 post-op, is very small. Straw should be OK. Your risk of mouth/throat lung cancer from pipe smoking is higher than from filtered cigarettes. Pipe smoking dramatically increases risk of early death.
