How often do dental crowns fall off during cleanings? i have crowns that are a few years old, and i cannot afford to pay for a new crown if it gets dislodged during a cleaning. very worried as 2 have fell out before?

Dental restorations do dislodge from time to time. Crowns that dislodge can usually be recemented if the underlying tooth is solid and has no decay, otherwise a new restoration is needed. Although durable, they do not last forever.
