I was recently started on propranolol for migraines, but i have been feeling weaker since i started taking it, and also i have pain in the front of my shin's feeling like they have been becoming bruised but i don't see them. what should i do?

1. Did they help the migriane. If so work with Dr to adjust dose. Go to Drugs.com and check for interactions with any other meds you are takin. Check BP. Not likely affecting shins.

First, fatigue is a common side effect of propranolol. Secondly, raising the dose will almost certainly make adverse effects worse. Thirdly, would not recommend this medication in 2023 as a migraine preventative, as far better choices are available. Get a second opinion from an experienced Headache Specialist Neurologist.
