Is benzagel (5) wash helpful for treating scalp folliculitis due to fungal infection?

Benzoic acid is not effective for fungal infection. You need a different formula for that condition. In the US, the recommended antifungal shampoo or lotion is only available via pharmacy with prescription. The OTC lotion or shampoo is not strong enough. I am not sure about how things in your country. Take care.
