Left sided abdominal pain is typically where intestinal discomfort is felt so this makes sense. Perhaps let your GI doctor know about the residual bloating/gas. You could try an over the counter medicine (like Mylicon) for gas-your pharmacist could recommend something to try that wouldn’t interfere with the Lizness. The smell is usually a combination of factors, including diet and meds. Good luck!

The colon takes a sharp turn at the left upper abdomen & gas entrapment can occur there ( splenic flexure syndrome). Applying heat there can break down gas allowing it to pass down through the rectum. Avoid gassy foods&gassy beverages. Taking simethicone 1/2 hour after meals prevents gas buildup. Taking activated charcoal reduces intestinal gas& odor that goes with it.
