You need x-rays and an exam. Untreated wrist bone fractures can permanently impair your hand function. Keep it cool to reduce swelling, elevate when possible & go get evaluated.

The pain intensity and the inability to move the hand are highly suggestive of a fracture. Regardless of future goals as far as playing football, an early assessment with an orthopedic center specializing in hand/wrist will be critical for a good functional recovery.
