Hand Trauma: Sometimes immediately after an injury you will feel no pain but the next day pain may develop once adrenaline wears off and swelling sets in. Rest, ice, compress with an ACE bandage, and elevate the hand to decrease swelling. If pain persists or if you heard a "pop" see MD for a full exam. Make sure your tetanus vaccination is up to date if you broke the skin. Good luck.
