I had 2 stents placed due to coronary blockages during an angiogram. i have another stent from a procedure 6 years ago. i have been instructed to take plavix and baby aspirin for one year along with pepcid. is taking pepcid that long safe?

You have avoided stating the reason for the Pepcid. I would gather it is to protect your stomach from gastritis or ulceration secondary to the aspirin. Do you have a history of gastric symptoms? Have you asked your physicians about the medication regimen?
