Stent: Clinical research study From the New England Society for Vascular Surgery Mes enteric stinting for chronic mes-enteric ischemia Presented at the Thirty-first Annual Meeting of the New England Society for Vascular Surgery, Whitefield, NH, September 19, 2004. Older article, but this showed a 50 % stent occlusion within months after procedure. At 6 months the occlusion rate was 10 %.
