A member asked:

I received the a test result that my hepatitis b surface antibodies are positive. there is no information about surface antigen or core antibody. is this test sufficient to determine immunity and there is no ongoing infection?

If you were vaccinated against hepatitis B virus, almost certainly that is the explanation for the positive test result. If not immunized or if you were at high risk for HBV before getting the vaccine (shared drug injection equipment, sex with gay/bi men, etc), speak with your doctor about adding the other tests you mention. But if you have not been at risk and feel well, move on without worry.
