No worries unless...: No worries, until one's primary care doctor looks at the patient's details. If a person has negative HepB surface Antigen, and is at low risk for having HepB, then he does not have HepB. However, if he is medium or high risk for HepB, then his Dr. would likely have also checked HepB core Antibody. If core Antibody also negative, he should not have HepB. Details matter. If worried, ask primary Dr.
