What creams help treat ringworm infection, my dr gave me a steroid cream called triamcinolone acetonide ointment usp 0.1% it's made it worse i bought equates athletes foot cream with clotrimazole usp 1% to put on it. will it help???

If it is truly ringworm as the reaction to the triamcinolone would suggest, the clotrimazole applied 2x daily should clear it up over time. You would see improvement within a week but would take longer to appear cured.
