Doctor prescribed a topical cream that has clotrimazole + dexamethasone for ringworms but i read that you shouldnt use steroid cream on ringworms as it can make them worse, should i take something else?

Some such combinations work as clotrimazole kills the fungus and the steroid reduces the irritation. In the US clotrimazole is sold over the counter and is effectively used alone. I agree I would not apply a steroid cream to the site by itself and expect it to help.
