Not many people are taking meclizine on a daily basis for years so I do not think we have reliable data for addressing your concern. At the same time, there are studies which showed meclizine has minimal beneficial effects in alleviating vertigo in the long run. Personally, I do think daily exercise to retrain your vestibular system does have a role to overcome vertigo in the long run. Good luck.
