I had a bad reaction to compazine in the er made me feel very jittery skin crawling couldnt stop moving horrible side effects. im having vertigo and doctor prescribed meclizine but im not sure i can take it as sounds like same family of medicine?

Meclizine is not related to compazine and is in a different chemical class. You shouldn't have those side effects with its use. Your pharmacist can validate this advice.
