It's prudent to be examined to determine type & cause of your dizziness. Meclizine is commonly prescribed to treat vertigo caused by inner ear disorders but not lightheadedness or faint like symptoms. Until speaking with or being seen & advised by a physician, avoid sudden movements of your head and body.

It is best for you not to self-treat as your symptoms could be due to an emerging problem that may be handled in a different manner. Contact your doctor, who knows you best, and see if you should be seen for followup.
