: Despite being somewhat of a small chance to contract when exposed to her when no active lesions, she still might be shedding virus. Suggest obtaining a blood test for hsv 1 and 2 IgM and IgG antibodies within the next 6 weeks. Also, be on the lookout for any lesions in areas of contact, getting them cultured if present.
