Ok: Hsv-1 is the herpes known as "oral" which is very common and most people have it by adulthood. It's not an std. The std "genital" version is hsv-2. There are a number of herpes viruses. Chicken pox is actually a type of herpes virus as well.

Some people seem to.: Continue to focus on HIV infection even if the tests are negative. The antibody test takes a bit sometimes to turn positive but a HIV RNA assay and or p24 blood test would be + by now.
