Slight pulse in suprasternal arch and tight throat. 30, smoker. worried it's an aneurysm. is it normal to have a pulse there? i feel like it's been around forever and i'm just noticing it now due to anxiety?

You may be right it may be increased pulsation due to anxiety; however if you have a genetic predisposition in your family to connective tissue disorder like Marfan's Syndrome you may want to have it evaluated to be sure you are not right about the possible aneurysm. The tight throat and pulsation may be due to panic/anxiety; it important to quit smoking since it should be easier now than later.
