Needs Evaluation: What you describe may be lumps in the thyroid itself or enlarged lymph nodes. Best to have them evaluated by primary care who may order an ultrasound. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!

Numerous tumors: can occur in the anterior mediastinum of which the classic textbook examples of thyroid cyst or lymphoma, etc are ONLY A MINORITY. and simple lymph node, cyst, boil/abcess are at least as common. But everything on the list is treatable and needs attention...so....

Hi I have a lump in my suprasternal notch area and above with thryoid swelling with normal thyroid levels. What could it be please?
I've got a lump feeling in my throat. My doc says sinus drainage. Today, I have a bulge at the suprasternal notch w/cough and it's a little tender.
I have been getting painless twitches at the base of my throat, on the front of my neck. Above the suprasternal notch. I cant tell if its muscle or something else because I do have gerd that irritates my vocal cords. Any ways to relieve twitches?
