It may be a response to a viral infection. Any symptoms? Your pediatrician or a pediatric gastroenterologist will most likely repeat the liver panel in a week or so and advise you.

You get the most from this site when you provide detailed information. High is a relative term. Many labs use adult standards when reporting kid test results which are not accurate for kids at different ages. Your report may be normal for a 5 year old. In the future please provide the data.
