My left breast nipple is little larger than my other one. it might be swollen. i had a normal mammogram & exam in july. my daughter is gonna take me to my primary doc asap. can infection cause this? im in my late 60s?

A breast infection, ( mastitis) is quite easily recognized when there's redness, pain,burning sensation of the breast or off a nipple. . If there's an obvious nipple irregularity on one side, I favor having your gynecologist or a breast surgeon performing the examination and advising you.
