A member asked:

What does suspect arm lead reversal, interpretation assumes no reversal, normal sinus rhythm, anterolateral infarct, age undetermined. abnormal ekg. does this mean a healthy heart? or did something happen in the past? i cant understand it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

The placement of sensors for an EKG are specific to side of the body and the arms vs the legs. The statement that the person thinks the unusual findings most likely mean the right & left arm sensors where placed in opposite position. I would interpret the findings as worthless and a new and properly done study is the only way to understand what is found.
