Inferior infarct age undetermined on ekg printout. normal sinus rhythm. heart enzymes normal. had jaw discomfort all day yesterday & today chest felt weird. er doc diagnosed me with anxiety/panic attack. should i be worried about ekg inferior infarct?

If this was a computer interpretation it should be reviewed by a cardiologist. Q waves in inferior limb leads may be only positional & not indicative of an infarct. An echocardiogram can show an area of true damage and can validate the infarction read on an EKG. Your symptoms today were worrisome enough to recommend a consultation with a cardiologist who may order an echocardiogram & stress test.
