I was exposed to gonorrhea/trich, notified two days later. i received oral sex from a 2nd partner before being notified. the 2nd partner was on week 1 of 6 of a clindamycin regimen for an unrelated infection. what is partner 2s chances of infection?

Not the treatment of choice for trichomonas or GC. Metronidazol is. Best is to notify the second partner and get treated by a doc yourself for both kind of exposures

Have you been tested for gonorrhea and trichomonas? If your tests were negative, your second partner was not at risk. If you did have gonorrhea, that partner was at very high risk of gonorrhea of the throat; s/he should be tested and treated. Clindamycin would have reduced but not eliminated that risk. However, there are no concerns about trichomonas, which rarely causes oral infection.
