Had strept for awhile but now strept has cleared up. had 1 swollen lymph node when will it go down or is this cancer? it seems like it goes down then back up?

It is not unusual for the lymph node to be swollen for up to a month after strept. And it can go up and down. It also can be somewhat larger forever following the initial reaction.
