One small, hard lymph node back of neck, sinus infection and sore throat, negative strep. just started augmentin. super scared it's cancer? read online hard, rubbery lymph nodes are cancer. it's a bit tender to touch.

InfectiousLymphNode: swollen node in neck associated with sore throat and sinus infection is more likely to be an infectious lymph node.Finish the course of antibiotic and stop worrying.If it does not go away then followup with your doctor Stop making your own diagnosis of cancer and being anxious and worried and follow your doctor's advise

Unlikely: to be cancer, confer with your doctor, have a second opinion if you wish, better than online reading which would confuse you more, best wishes

Node: With your other symptoms most likely a reactive node and will resolve with antibiotic. If tender more likely from infection too. If persists after antibiotics then follow up with MD.
