It is unlikely any STD is responsible for your tooth/gum problem. However, conceivably gonorrhea could do this and can be transmitted by oral sex. See a doctor or clinic, to include oral swab testing for gonorrhea. It probably will be negative, but better safe than sorry.

Unless the person had a VD your chances of getting a toothache and swelling are more from a tooth problem then VD. Most oral VDs do not cause such symptoms. Pl see a dentist. Good luck
