Get to the Dentist: Give your dentist a call as soon as possible. The pus is a sign for now that the infection is draining but do not put things off too long. If you develop visible facial swelling, difficulty speaking/swallowing, or a fever you should seek attention promptly as these are signs the infection is becoming more dangerous.

Pericoronitis: happens when the gums behind your wisdom teeth or back teeth become infected. If the pericoronitis is mild, warm salt water rinsing and oral hygiene will temporary solve the problem. If your gums, jaw, and cheek are swollen and painful you should see a dentist asap for imaging and treatment with antibiotics. Take care.
