A doctor has provided 1 answer

Osteophytes are arthritic spurs on your vertebrae. These are mild. You have evidence of collapsed vertebrae which could be old or recent. Any history of old back trauma? Any recent severe back pain? If no significant back injury to explain these compression fractures, predisposing osteoporosis is the cause. Were you ever treated with high dose corticosteroids? Your MD will order a bone density.
