I have chronic compression fractures in l2 and t2. no trauma to my back but had celestone injections age 6-11 now 58. could this be the cause for pain?

Not typically: The term chronic refers to the idea that the fractures are old and therefore healed. Unless they healed in a highly collapsed manner, most healed compression fractures do not cause pain. Similarly, steroid injections in and of themselves do not cause pain. Degenerative disc disease, facet arthropathy, and SI problems are just three examples of more common causes. Be seen for correct diagnosis.
