An : An osteophyte is a little extra bony formation, like a bony callus in a way. The femoral osteophyte means there is a little arthritis in your hip but since it is minimal it is unlikely to cause problems. "no hip effusion" means no fluid in the hip which is good. On the mri, "facet joint degeneration" that is mild means a little arthritis, and the fact that there is no stenosis means nothing is pressing on the cord.
