Compression fracture: Most compression fractures heal in 4-8 weeks. Time, medication, and bracing can all help. Miacalcin (salmon calcitonin) spray can help heal and help pain. If any neurologic signs, he should see pcp. Procedures like vertebroplasty or kyphoplasty can offer significant relief as well.
