A member asked:

Good evening. i get occasional constipation. it seems that consuming dairy seems to help. is there a medication or product that i can take that would safely and effectively serve the same purpose as taking dairy when i have occasional constipation?

Dairy is usually causing constipation, however if lactose intolerant you can get diarrhea. Symptoms depend on he person tolerance and amount of dairy. For constipation increase the fibers and hydtation. There are no fibers in meat and dairy, fibers can be found in whole grains, legumes, veggies, fruits. And of course one has to be up to date with screening for colon cancer!
