The bleeding is likely from rectal irritation or internal hemorrhoids due to constipation. Because you already took an osmotic laxative (polyethylene glycol - miralax) so next step you should try a suppository laxative such as dulcolax suppository. If the combination of miralax & dulcolax doesn't succeed then fecal impaction needs to be ruled out by exam before a stronger laxative is attempted.
