Hi doctor my wife's pulse felt as if it stopped beating every 5 beats for 1 hour yesterday.the rate was 58 beats a minute.could it be a fib with such a low pulse rate? it's back to normal today. thanks?

It is best that you have your wife evaluated with an EKG; however what you suggested is unlikely to be a fib. Evaluation and finding the cause, like if it is heart block, and appropriate intervention is better for your wife.
