Bones: If you are referring to pieces of bone sticking through the tissue this is not uncommon. it is dead and will come out on its own however you may want to see your surgeon to have the area checked and the pieces removed for comfort. Will you be getting implants to preserve your bone and stabilize the denture?Given your age that would be ideal.
