Why does ovarian cancer cause painful burning urination?

In the several patients I've seen with ovarian cancer this has not been a featured symptom or presenting symptom. A lower urinary tract infection or urethral irritation/inflammation are the usual causes of burning on urination. Pelvic discomfort and abdominal distension are common symptoms of ovarian cancer though.
