Tooth pain that comes and goes. triggered by stress, when biting down, and cold. pain is extreme and will travel to eye and forehead. feels like brain freeze. nothing will help it until it subsides on its own in about 10 minutes. tooth is cracked?

It appears the tooth is fractured, or you have a restoration that has a carious lesion underneath it. This will not resolve by itself, it will only get worse over time. Please see a local dentist to determine exactly what the issue is and if the tooth is restorable or hopeless.

Tooth pain with cracked tooth requires evaluation and treatment by dentist. There can be a abscess of the tooth or nerve root damage or both.
