A member asked:

I get pvcs and told benign, echo normal etc. 32 years old male. my coupling interval is 250-300ms sometimes, i read this causes ventricular fibrillation?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Is the coupling interval fixed or variable? Are the PVCs multiform? Fixed coupling usually means the PVCs are caused by reentry. If unfixed and occur regularly, a parasystolic mechanism&an monomorphic irritable ventricular focus is likely. A PVC falling on the preceding T wave with a unidirectional block present can provoke ventricular tachycardia&V Fib. Consult a cardiologist electrophysiologist
