A member asked:

Two weeks ago i got otoplasty. my ears really stuck out at the bottom, the top not so much and this is apparently pretty unusual. however, even after surgery the bottom still sticks out almost the same. will they ever stick closer to my head?

It is possible you are not seeing the final result of your procedure since there may still be swelling to your ears. You may still have residual swelling for about 6 weeks or so after a procedure like this. But, if you are not satisfied with the results, you should see the doctor who did the procedure to see if there is anything else that can be done to get the result you are looking for.
